PURPOSE:To prevent a glass broken accident due to thermal stress as well as to aim at the shortening of processing time in case of a small-sized bulb, by heating a wall surface of the glass bulb from both inner and outer surfaces or making the glass wall surface itself get generation of heat. CONSTITUTION:A bulb wall surface is heated from the inside, jointly using an electric heater 3 to be inserted into a bulb. For example, during a frit baking process, an inner wall surface heating heater is inserted into the inside of the bulb or a microwave heating system,heating the bulb wall surface itself from the inside is jointly used. And, during an exhaust process, since an exhaust tube (tip tube) has been already sealed and the heater can not be inserted into the inside of the bulb, the microwave heating system is set up in addition, whereby wall surface temperature is made to go up by generation of heat from the inside of the bulb wall surface itself.
