PURPOSE:To easily set a coil shape and to prevent occurrence of handling dent by forming a cylindrical restriction plane restricting a circle or outer diameter of coils to be adjustable. CONSTITUTION:Ellipse barlike bodies 5 whose sectional shape is an ellipse are put to surround coils and their top and bottom are eccentrically and pivotally supported by stems 22. V-shaped turning levers 18, turnbuckles 19, cylinders 17 are installed to turn the bodies 5 in the body peripheral direction. After arranging the bodies 5 in a prescribed restriction circle by the cylinders 17, wire rings 1 carried by a conveyer are bundled in a vacant space 4 and the outer diameter of the rings 1 is restricted by a cylindrical restriction plane 3. If an inner diameter restriction device is combined, the outer and inner diameters are restricted concurrently. In that method, the coil shape is easily set and occurrence of handling dent is prevented.
