PURPOSE:To minimize an oscillation and a temperature rise in a device due to the wind of a head by increasing the plate thickness of the frame of an arm corresponding to the position of a slider. CONSTITUTION:At an arm 1, two heads are fitted, a head A2 is in charge of the inner circumferential side area of a disk 4 and a head B3 is in charge of the outer circumferential side. Heads A2 and B3 are composed of a slider 5 to float on the disk 4 at a small clearance and a supporting spring 6 to support it and add a load. For the arm 1, which is driven by a positioning device from the rear direction and positions a head to the track of a purpose, the thickness of a part 7 corresponding to the slider 5 is formed larger than the thickness of other part. Thus, since the part corresponding to the supporting spring of the head to occupy most of the length of the arm is thinner, the wind loss is small, and since the part corresponding to the slider is thicker, the oscillation of the head is small.
