PURPOSE:To directly and easily confirm the information of a sheet of paper with a visual observation by direction-changing over the transfer direction of the sheet of paper to the front surface side of a device. CONSTITUTION:For the sheet of paper to pass through an optical scanner part, the transfer direction is switched to this side of a device by the first direction switching part 8 to direction-change over the transfer direction to 90 deg.. A visible window part 9 is provided so as to protrude it to the front surface of a device, in case of the necessity by the result of the recognition, the sheet of paper is stopped at the visible window part 9 once and the information such as the character and image of the surface of the sheet of paper can be easily recognized with a visual observation. The second direction switching part 10 direction- changes over the transfer direction of the sheet of paper to pass through the visible window part 9 to 90 deg. again and sends it to an accumulating part 11 side.
