PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of heaving, etc., by a method in which an annular trench is excavated along the inner wall of a caisson, and a stabilizer liquid is supplied into the trench in such a way as to enable the stabilizer liquid and the unexcavated ground left to work in conjunction with each other. CONSTITUTION:A cutting edge 2 is formed on the tip of an angular cylinder form of caisson 1, and a sludge discharge pipe 14 is led to the inside of a case 9. A jet pipe 16 through which a stabilizer liquid is supplied to the pipe 14 is provided and connected to a nozzle 17. Plural soil pressure guages 18 are set on the cutting edge 2 in such a way as to equalize the settling of the caisson 1 by controlling the soil pressures. The first lot of the caisson 1 is settled down, an annular inner trench 21 is excavated by an excavator 7, and stabilizer liquid is jetted from the nozzle 17 to stabilize the wall of the trench. As the caisson 1 settles, stabilizer liquid is supplied even to a trench 22 formed on the outside of the caisson 1 to keep the stability of the trench wall.
