PURPOSE:To keep off any drop in drain capacity, by installing a valve gear, being opened or closed by balance between pressure at the inflow side and that in the reservoir chamber outside, in an interconnecting pipe connecting a siphon pipe top to the reservoir chamber outside. CONSTITUTION:When there is no variation in pressure inside and outside the airtight chamber 1, the top of a siphon pipe 9 is interconnected to the atmosphere outside this airtight chamber 1 by an interconnecting pipe 12 and a solenoid valve 13 so that an intermediate air reservoir 11 is discharged to the outside together with an increase in storage water 4, whereby movement of the storage water from a water storage chamber 5 to 6 (see illustration) is easily performed. When pressure outside the airtight chamber 1 is dropped to some extent, the storage water 4 in the water storage chamber 5 is depressed. A pressure switch 15 transmits an electric command to the solenoid valve 13 whereby the siphon pipe 9 is interrupted from the atmosphere outside the airtight chamber 1.
