PURPOSE:To improve the compression efficiency by constructing a vane with at least two sheets of board members arranged in the circumferential direction of a rotor thereby enabling independent sliding of the board members. CONSTITUTION:A vane 19 is arranged in the circumferential direction of a rotor 5 and constructed with four sheets of board members 34-37 slidable mutually in the radial direction. The idle ends of respective board members 34-37 are pressed independently against the inner wall face of a cylinder chamber by a pressurized fluid so as to slide liquidtightly therewith. Consequently, even when the idle end of the board member 34 passes through a point P, the working liquid does not counter flow through a delivery port 24 into a working chamber (b), thereby the sealing effect of vane is improved and the compression efficiency is increased.
