PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the adhesive strength, corrosion and wear resistances of a thermally sprayed film of TaB2 or TiC formed on the surface of an electrically conductive roll by filling an adhesive into the gaps in the film. CONSTITUTION:A thermally sprayed film 7 of TaB2 or TiC is formed on the surface of an electrically conductive roll 2 to >=0.1mm thickness and an adhesive such as an epoxy adhesive is filled into the gaps in the film 7.
