PURPOSE:To maintain an air-fuel ratio which agrees with the required air-fuel ratio of an engine at the time of restarting at a high temp. and improve a starting property, stability, as well as the emission of exhaust by carrying out the correction of an fuel injection quantity corresponding to vapor generated in a fuel piping. CONSTITUTION:An air-fuel ratio control device M2 increasingly controls a fuel quantity which is injectingly fed by a defined value from the start of an internal combustion engine M1 when the temp. of fuel which is fed into the internal combustion engine M1 is above a certain value. In such a structure, a first correcting means M3 reduces a quantity increasing coefficient for said increasing control at a first rate when the air-fuel ratio of the internal combustion engine M1 is larger than a theoretical air-fuel ratio after starting. And, a second correcting means M4 reduces said quantity increas ing coefficient at a second rate which is larger than the first rate, when the air fuel ratio is smaller than the theoretical air-fuel ratio. Further, a fuel increasing means M5 obtains the increasing quantity of fuel in accordance with the quantity increasing coefficient which is determined by each of said correcting means M3, M4 and increas ingly controls fuel.
