PURPOSE:To reduce the difference in the motion hours of the main bending mechanism and feeding mechanism and to eliminate the errors in the width dimension by transmitting the rotation of an auxiliary bending mechanism to the feeding mechanism via a transmitting mechanism and feeding a work simultaneously with the bending of the main bending mechanism in the bending device providing the main bending mechanism and auxiliary bending mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an auxiliary bending device 6 is transmitted to a feeding mechanism 14 by a clutch device 12 via a non-stage transmission 10 as the rotation in a fixed direction irrespective of the bending direction at bending time. A pipe W is then fed simultaneously with the bending by the feeding mechanism to perform the bending. The discrepancy in the motion hours due to the difference in the moments of inertia of the left bending device 1 or right bending device and feeding device 14 can therefore be reduced and after bending the need to correct by a dimension correcting machine is eliminated.
