PURPOSE:To form a data character string corresponding to the horizontal or vertical position of a camera by selectively interrupting the optical path of a 1st or 2nd optical system in accordance with the horizontal position posture and vertical position posture at the time of photographing by a camera and guiding only either one of two light beams to the surface of a film. CONSTITUTION:When the photographing posture of the camera is normal horizontal position photographing, an interrupting member 6 is set up on a position for interrupting the optical path of the 2nd optical system and the image of display data 1a on a data display device 1 is formed on the end side on the performation side of a photographed picture of the film 10 by the 1st optical system as horizontal position data 10a. When the photographing posture of the camera is turned so-called vertical position photographing, the interrupting member 6 is moved to a position shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line and switches the optical path so as to interrupt the optical path of the 1st optical system and to open the optical path of the 2nd optical system and the image of the display data 1a of the data display device 1 is formed on the end side of the adjacent photographed picture side of the photographed picture of the film 10 by the 2nd optical system as vertical position data 10b.
