PURPOSE:To relieve the user from troublesome load of dialing in a public telephone set by selecting any of subscriber telephone numbers written in a subscriber card and sending a dial pulse of the subscriber telephone number automatically. CONSTITUTION:A talking section 2 of a public telephone set 1 is connected to an exchange 6 of a station and a magnetic card 7 is loaded to a card unit section 4. A control section 5 identifies whether the card 7 read by the unit section 4 is a magnetic card written with a call number data or a subscriber card being a magnetic card written is a subscriber telephone number. In case of the subscriber card loaded, an abbreviation code from a user is received and the subscriber number is selected. In receiving a deposited coin, the selected subscriber telephone number is sent automatically as a dial pulse. Thus, subscribers are connected and the talking is attained.
