PURPOSE:To execute smooth communication by providing an idle channel nubmer detecting means, a counter means and a count time change means or the like to a control circuit so as to suppress the reduction in the opportunity of talking communication due to the increase in number of radio stations. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 50 controls the connection/disconnection and the calling of a communication equipment and has an idle channel number detecting means, a counter means, a count time change means and a talking limit means. That is, in the calling operation, the circuit 50 uses an output of a comparator circuit 37 to discriminate the presence or absence of talking sequentially and to detect number of idle channels, and when the talking channel number in operation exceeds a half of all talking channel number, the setting time of a talking timer is changed from 5min to 3min. In starting talking, the count of the talking timer is started, the remaining time is displayed and after 3 minutes elapse, the talking state is forcibly stopped. After the control signal is sent, the radiation of a radio wave is stopped, the mode transits to the standby state so as to suppress the reduction in the opportunity of talking communication due to the increase in radio stations thereby attaining smooth communication.
