PURPOSE:To enable display of a residual power feeding capacity in substance of a battery, by displaying the current voltage detected by a voltage detecting circuit during the power supply from the battery and the newest voltage at the power supply stored in a memory during the non-power supply separately. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detecting circuit 4 detects a voltage of a battery 2 during the power supply to an electronic equipment body 1 and the memory contents of a memory 5 is updated with the newest voltage detected by the voltage detecting circuit 4. A changeover switch 6 changes over the voltage detected with the voltage detecting circuit 4 and the newest voltage read out of the memory 5. During the power supply from the battery 2, the current voltage detected with the voltage detecting circuit 4 is displayed 7 and during the non-power supply, the newest voltage at the power supply read out of the memory 5 is done separately.
