PURPOSE:To enable a comfortable air blowing to be performed by a method wherein a first temperature sensing means for sensing a room temperature and a second temperature sensing means for sensing a temperature of a heat exchanger are provided to control upper and lower blowers and a damper in response to output values of both means. CONSTITUTION:A room temperature Ta sensed by a room temperature sensor 29 is read into CPU 24 through an output circuit 23, the room temperature Ta is compared with a first set temperature (t1). A heat exchanger intermediate temperature Tb sensed by a heat exchanger intermediate temperature sensor 30 is read into CPU 24 through an input circuit 23, and the temperature Tb is compared with a set temperature (t2). In case that Ta is higher than (t1) and Tb is higher than (t2), the damper 18 is opened, the upper fan motor 31 and the lower fan motor 32 are driven and then a blowing operation is carried out through an upper blowing port 15 and a lower blowing port 17. In case of conditions other than the above, the damper 18 is closed and only the upper fan motor 31 is driven to blow air through the upper blowing port 15.
