PURPOSE:To modify a reproducing frame feed speed with less input means by providing a setting means to set a single frame image picking up or consecutive frame image picking up in an image pickup mode, and providing a control means to control whether the data is continuously reproduced for one-picture share or plural-picture share corresponding to the setting state of the setting means in the reproduction mode. CONSTITUTION:During the time when a consecutive image pickup switching switch 13 is set in single frame pickup side S, the picking up of an image is executed for one-frame share even of a release switch 12 is in a depressed-state, but if the switch 13 is set in either speed mode L, M, or H, the device operates at the frame-shifting speed corresponding to the respective speed modes of consecutive frame image pickup as long as the switch 12 is in pushed-down state. In the reproduction mode, in case the switch 13 is set in the single pickup frame side S, the fame is shifted forward or backward for one frame per each one time pushing an up switch 15 and a down switch 16. On the other hand, in case of the switch 13 is set in either speed mode L, M, or H of consecutive image picking up, the frames of reproduced signals are consecutively shifted forward or backward at a speed corresponding to the frame shifting speed L, M, or H as long as switches 15 and 16 are kept in pushed-down state, but if the switches 15 and 16 are no longer depressed, the shifting of frames is stopped, and further if the release switch 12 is pushed down, the reproduction is finished.
