PURPOSE:To vary the distribution of front and rear driving torque over a wide range by directly connecting the carrier of a planetary gear device to an engine output shaft while connecting a ring gear to the driving sides of front and rear wheels via hydraulic clutches and performing engaging/disengaging control of said hydraulic clutches. CONSTITUTION:When a control valve 22 is turned off while a control valve 23 is turned on by means of a control device 20, a first hydraulic clutch 17 is engaged, while a second hydraulic clutch 18 is also engaged due to the supply of hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pump 21. Thereupon, a driving torque from an engine output shaft 1 is transmitted to a rear wheel driving shaft 3 via a carrier 14, a planetary pinion 13, a ring gear 11, gears 15, 16, etc., while also to a front wheel driving shaft 2 via the ring gear 11, etc., rotating a sun gear 12 together with the front wheel driving shaft 2. At this time, the relation between driving torques TF, TR to each of the front and rear wheels 2, 3 is, TF TR, thereby, improving a traveling property on a rough road and a traveling stability on a low mu road.
