PURPOSE:To obtain precoating paint which has excellent lubricity and corrosion resistance and is inexpensive and suitable for use in coating two-piece cans, by adding hydrocarbon wax modified by a fluorine-substd. olefin to thermosetting paint. CONSTITUTION:Paints is obtd. by adding hydrocarbon wax modified by a fluorine-substd. olefin as a self-lubricating agent to thermosetting paint. It is preferred that said wax has an m.p. of 70-200 deg.C. Pref. the wax is used in an amount of 0.1-30pts. per 100pts. (on a solid basis) paint. Examples of the thermosetting paint are paints for cans such as vinyl chloride organosol paints contg. a phenolic resin or an epoxy resin which is a thermosetting resin, a combination of an epoxy resin with a phenolic resin, a combination of an epoxy resin with an amino resin, a combination of a polyester resin with an amino resin, etc.
