PURPOSE:To stagnate objects correctly by communicating a discharge port on the upstream side with a discharge port on the side of a raising/lowering device body of a fluid changeover valve supplying the fluid to the raising/ lowering drive body which makes conveyer rollers distributed in multiple zones independently contact/separate from an endless belt. CONSTITUTION:An object W is conveyed in the direction of A by rotating multiple conveyer rollers 2 by means of a belt 3. A conveying passage is divided into multiple zones Z3-Z1 provided respectively with drive bodies A3-A1 for raising/lowering belt pads 4 by supplying air 5 through valves V3-V1 for the respective zones. The roller 2 of the corresponding zone is driven/stopped by making the belt pad 4 contact/separate from the belt 3. Sensors S3-S1 detect the presence of the object W and, if the object is present, the drive bodies A3-A1 are lowered. Output port sides of the valves V1-V3 are connected to air discharge ports of the valves V2-V3 through pipe passages P1 and P2. With this constitution, then there is a zone where an object is not detected on the downstream side of a zone where the object W is detected, the object W is driven and conveyed to the downstream side so that the object is stagnated correctly.
