PURPOSE:To adjust the pressure drop and rotary power of the title dust collector against the variations in the gas quantity and to prevent a decrease in the capacity by supporting a rotatable normal rotary vane on the downstream side of an opening part for a gas current of the dust collector. CONSTITUTION:The rotary dust collector consists of a dust collector A, an auxiliary cyclone B, and a circulating blower C. An opening part (a) is provided at the uppermost stream position of the gas current in the cylindrical duct 1 of the dust collector A, and the normal rotary vane 2 is supported by a shaft on the downstream side. The duct 1 is expanded, a short pipe 5 having about the same diameter as the dust 1 is furnished therein, one end of the expanded outer cylinder 7 is closed with the short pipe 6, the opening (b) of the outer cylinder 7 is communicated with the auxiliary cyclone 9 and the blower 8, and further communicated with the opening (a). The pressure drop and rotary power of the dust collector are thus adjusted against the variations in the gas quantity, and the capacity is not decreased.
