PURPOSE:To very efficiently manufacture a beautiful frame with high strength and with high accuracy by packing a body frame which has been formed by a thermoplastic material, into a granular refractory together with a pouring gate, etc., forming a burnt casting mold frame by pouring a molten metal, and thereafter, executing a finish work. CONSTITUTION:A body frame 10 of motorcycle which has been assembled in advance by a thermoplastic material of foam polystyrene, etc., is formed. To the surface of this body frame 10, a facing agent is applied, and this frame is buried and packed into a granular refractory 66 such as dry quartz sand, etc., together with a pouring gate 64, and runners 60, 62. The thermoplastic material is burnt by pouring a light alloy molten metal such as an aluminum alloy, etc., from the pouring gate 64, and also, the molten metal is filled, by which a casting is obtained. After removing the runner, a heat treatment and a surface finish are executed, by which a beautiful body frame having a high strength and a high accuracy is manufactured.
