PURPOSE:To improve slidability between internal sliding surface of an outer tube and a piston member, by forming a dispersed plating film on an internal surface of the outer tube and obtaining a low coefficient of friction. CONSTITUTION:A dispersed plating film 7 is formed on internal sliding surfaces of an outer tube 1. The dispersed plating film 7 is formed by educing together in a nickel plating matrix 8 a fine grain 9 which consists of boron nitride and sericite or fluorine contained resin of polytetrafluoroethylene, tetrafluoroethylene- perfluoroalkylvinyl-ether copolymer or the like having a self-lubricating quality further a low coefficient of friction. Accordingly, the outer tube 1, in which the low coefficient of friction is obtained by the film, improves slidability with a peripheral surface 6 of a piston member 2.
