PURPOSE:To prevent the positional slippage of a core due to heat distortion, by providing projections on the surface of facings for forming recesses, and positioning the core at an axially intermediate position of the facing assembly. CONSTITUTION:A clutch disc 1 includes an annular core 7 extending along the outer periphery of a clutch plate 2 and a pair of annular facings 8. The core 7 is formed with a plurality of radial slits 14 on the outside of a fixed portion 10, thereby dividing a radially intermediate portion and an outer peripheral portion of the core 7 into a plurality of facing supporting portions 13. Each facing supporting portion 13 is provided with a plurality of connection holes 18. Thus, a part of the facings 8 is closely fitted into the connection holes 18 and the slits 14. Such closely fitted portions 19 and 20 act to integrally connect the opposite facings 8 and firmly fix the same to the core 7.
