PURPOSE:To improve the degree of freedom of the installing location of a telephone set by providing a connection terminal extracting a call signal output and a connection terminal inputting an input for holding reply externally to the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A detection circuit 11 for a call signal, the connection terminal 13 extracting the output of the circuit 11 externally, circuits 6, 7 replying a call by the stored recorded voice without hooking off a handset 5 in order to reply the call signal extracted externally from the connection terminal 13 and a connection terminal 9 inputting externally the input for the reply by the circuits 6, 7 are provided. Thus, quick reply is attained for a telephone call by holding reply functions 6, 7, and plural number of call displays and holding reply switches are placed and the degree of freedom of the location of the telephone set is increased.
