PURPOSE:To reduce the pulsation of discharge flow rate by specifying the shape of a cam, in a pump in which driven members to which pistons are connected are placed on both side of a cam center via said cam center while on a straight line passing through said cam center. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cam 6 is provided on a cam shaft 5 which is rotatably supported in a cam case 2. A pair of driven members 8 consisting of cam followers are fitted in a cam groove 7 formed on the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical cam 6. These driven members 8 are connected to pistons 10 fitted in cylinder holes 9 while being placed on the diameter line of the cam 6. And, the cam groove 7 is formed in such a way a that the driven members 6 are moved according to the formula I, in which, (y) = lift of driven member, theta= center angle (radian) of cam, (a) = constant, and pi = circle ratio (radian). Thereby, the flow rate of fluid which is removed by the pistons 10 connected to both driven members 8 is constant, preventing the pulsation of the discharge flow rate of a pump.
