SUSPENSION TYPE SOIL CARRIER

PURPOSE:To cut down the cost of a suspension type soil carrier by a method in which an endless link chain is engaged with a sprocket wheel to which a drive torque is applied and an excavating bucket having an opening directed to the advancing direction is attached to the chain. CONSTITUTION:An endless link chain 2 engaged with a sprocket wheel 1 is hung down until it reaches the bottom ground 5 under water in a freely suspended state. A drive motor 7 is operated, and a bucket 3 set on the chain 2 is rotationally operated to rake up the soil of the bottom ground 5 and directed upwards. When the bucket 3 is inverted right above a chute 4 and opened downwards, the soil raked up is discharged onto the chute 4.
