PURPOSE:To make the excavation of surroundings easier by a method in which a base boom is provided to a slewing frame, the second boom is provided to the tip, an arm structure is provided to the tip, a bucket is attached to the tip, and the joint is operated by an oil-pressure cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A base boom 10 is pivotally supported on a base bracket 2 provided to a slewing frame 19 and moved in a rocking manner by a falling and rising drive link mechanism 4. The mechanism 4 is provided with a lever 5 pivotally attached on the same axial line, and the lower end is connected with the base of a jack 14 and the upper end is connected with the rod 13a of a jack 13. The boom 10 is lowered by operation of the jack 14, during which period the booms 10 and 11 and the arm structure 12 are operated by oil pressure and a bucket 17 is moved in a rocking manner and turned for excavation. The deep surrounding ground of a vehicle can thus be easily excavated.
