PURPOSE:To make a collector with a durability remarkably higher than that of a conventional one, by applying an evaporation cooling system to the collector except its top part, and applying a forced cooling system at the top part of the collector. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a collector is same as the conventional one except the top part. The top part is composed in a system to pressurize the cooling water to flow down through an inner waterway 8 at the collector core top, and flow up through an outer waterway 9 to be exhausted from an exhaust pipe 10. In such a composition, the thermal exchange efficiency of the cooling system can be improved by increasing the flow speed of the water cooling water, and no consideration of the influence of bubble spout from the lower side is necessary. Therefore, the heating at the top part of the collector for a large power microwave tube can be exhausted effectively, and, the improved durability and a long service life of a large power klystorn or the like can be realized.
