PURPOSE:To provide kitchen range capable of setting the quantity of combustion in a wide range without conducting changeover of the area of a combustion plate by burning a fuel premixed gas in the vicinity of the surface of the combustion plate heating the surface of the combustion plate into red-hot state to discharge the radiant heat and producing a combustion waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A fuel premixed gas 2 set in a region where a flame rises up and a blue flame combustion is carried out and no radiant heat is obtained, is supplied through a mixing pipe 3, and is ejected to burn through a number of small holes formed in a combustion plate 1. Simultaneously with the formation of flame, air which has passed an air passage 8 and ejected through an air ejection port 9 comes into collision with a collision plate 10, and thereafter flows radially from the central part of the combustion plate 1 and along the surface of the combustion plate 1. Then, secondary air is supplied to the blue flame to promote the mixing of air in the combustion process and to shorten the time up to the complete combustion, thus shortening the length of the flame. Since the mixing of flame with air is promoted, and a flame having a short flame length is formed in the vicinity of the surface of the combustion plate, a combustion zone wherein radiant heat due to red hot state can be utilized is widened, and the quantity of combustion can be set in a wide range without changing over the combustion area.
