PURPOSE:To prevent over-counting accompanied by a possible unnecessary vibration, by detecting alternately a specimen upon rotation of a rotating body by each detecting member. CONSTITUTION:When a sudden change of measuring amount causes vibrating rotary motion of a rotating body 1 and change is observed on the specimen 3 in a vibrating stroke by a detecting member 4, the same detecting member 4 detects the same specimen 3 in an overlapping manner. However, as a counting member 5 is so constructed that, it proceeds counting only when a detecting signal from each detecting member 4a, 4b is introduced alternatively; a series 1 of detecting signals detected continuously is subjected to counting only and accordingly, over-counting caused by overlapped detections can be prevented.
