PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency by recording simultaneously the display contents of a CRT display device and the contents of externally inputted process data on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When a process input/output device 7 detects a hard copy request signal 12, software 8 outputs data 9 on the CRT display device 2. Then, the software 8 in case of receiving the contents of a process signal 13 from the process input/output device 7 stores the contents in a memory 15 and also stores data 19 of a hard copy in a memory 17. Software 14 compares the contents of the memory 15 stored with the process data and the memory 17 stored with the hard copy data with each other and stores the result in a memory 22. The CRT display device 2 outputs the data in the memories 17, 15, and 22 and a hard copy request signal 12, etc., to the interface 6 of a hard copy device 5 as data 11 through an interface 4.
