发明名称 SYSTEM FOR DETECTING BEARING OF SOUND SOURCE
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect the bearing of a sound source accurately, by shaping waves of outputs of elements arrayed in a train by the max. entropy method and a fast Fourier transformer device when receiving signals from a single sound source to be compared with a Fourier coefficient of a reference light receiving element. CONSTITUTION:Signals 1-3 of sound wave incident slantly from a far sound source with (k) wave receiving elements (k=3 in the drawing) arrayed in a train are converted 11-13 into digital from analog. The digital outputs are spectrally displayed 14-18 by the max. entropy method and phases to be shifted are calculated 20-24 to be inputted into multipliers 21-25. Digital outputs are subjected to fast Fourier transforms 15-19 to determine a spectrum to be inputted into the multipliers 21-25, outputs of which 21-25 are added up 26 and multiplied by 1/k to shape waves of the signals. The signals thus shaped in the wave are displayed 28 simultaneously with the Fourier coefficient of a reference wave 1. Thus, the direction of a sound source is detected with high resolutions.
