PURPOSE:To attain the connection between versatile terminal equipments by providing a processor and plural communication processing processors to a communication controller and deciding the communication path in the inside of the communication processor depending on the condition at each communication. CONSTITUTION:Input/output processors 4a-4c inquire about an address of a communication processing function to be passed so as to connect a call mg-side terminal equipment and a called-side terminal equipment and an address of an input/output port assigned to the called-side terminal equipment to a control processor 6, which replies it in response to the condition. Thus, the communication parth in the communication processor 3 is varied in response to the attribute of the terminal equipments 1a-1c to offer versatile communication processing service thereby connecting various kinds of terminal equipments.
