PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic type fuel injection valve which is prevented from the generation of high impact noise during contact, by a method wherein a valve is moved backward, and when a valve flange part is forced into contact with a stopper, shot blast processing is applied on the contact surface of either one or the other thereof. CONSTITUTION:A valve 11 is moved backward for a specified time by means of an input signal to an input signal receiving part 1 to inject fuel through a fuel injection hole 15, In this case, the valve 11 is moved backward until a flange part 21 is forced into contact with a stopper 17. By applying shot blast processing on the contact surface of either the valve flange part 21 or the stopper 17, the uneven surface thereof has a root and crest which are formed in an obtuse angular gentle curved shape instead of an acute angular mechanically processed surface. This constitution increases a contact area, and reduces the generation of impact noise resulting from lowering of a contact surface root and relaxation of impact by means of the liquid film of fuel contained in the root.
