PURPOSE:To stabilize continuous reverse rotation by using a pulse group for starting consisting of a 1st pulse for repulsion, a 2nd pulse with the opposite polarity and long pulse width, and a 3rd pulse which is equal in the polarity to the 1st pulse, and a continuous pulse group which includes the 2nd pulse with the short pulse width. CONSTITUTION:The reversing of a rotor 7 in a 1st step is driven with the pulse group for starting from a starting reverse rotation signal generating circuit 8 and a chopper pulse generating circuit 10, but in the 2nd and succeeding steps, that is controlled with the output signal of a one-shot pulse generating circuit 11 and driven with the 1st and the 2nd pulses of a continuous reverse rotation signal generating circuit 9 and the 3rd pulse from the circuit 10. In the 2nd and succeeding steps, a next signal is applied before a rotor 7 stops completely, so the amplitude of the rotor 7 increases and a step-out is easy to occur when the starting pulse group is the same with continuous pulse groups in the 2nd and succeeding steps. For the purpose, the pulse with of the 2nd pulse of the continuous pulse group is made narrower than the width of the 2nd pulse of the starting pulse group to suppress the amplitude of the rotor 7; and thus the step-out is eliminated and stable reversing is maintained.
