PURPOSE:To prevent an undesired data from being stored in a memory by fetching and storing a read data when the count of a detection pulse reaches a setting value. CONSTITUTION:When the manual sweep operation of an image sensor is started and its moving speed reaches a prescribed value or above the generation interval of a detection pulse signal from a moving quantity detection section 3 is shortened more than the time of an integration value in a moving speed detection section 6 reaching a prescribed value and no reset signal is outputted from the moving speed detection section 6. Since a counter 8 is not reset, a detection pulse signal is counted continuously, the count reaches a set value or above, a write command signal is outputted from a write control section 10 and a central processing unit 12 applies signal processing so as to store a read data from a reception section 4b into a memory 14 temporarily. Thus, the storage of undesired read data into a memory 14 is blocked while the moving speed of the image sensor section reaches a prescribed speed or above and the angle is not stable.
