PURPOSE:To secure the restart of a job even at the time of a system stop equivalent to the breakdown of a power supply by saving a job start waiting table needed for restart of jobs to a secondary storage device even in a job start processing mode. CONSTITUTION:A restart information saving part 7 saves a job start waiting table 5 to the secondary storage device 6 when a system breakdown occurs excepting for the system equivalent to the power supply breakdown. Then the job restart system has a rerise to complete processing. A restart processing part 8 restores the table 5 out of the storage device 6 after the system has a rise. Then the conventional job restart processing is carried out. At the time of this processing, the restored table 5 is used to restart the job like the normal job start processing. When the restarts of all relevant jobs are through, the part 8 finishes its processing.
