PURPOSE:To reliably secure both ends of each mesh of a reticulate rubber band and to facilitate mounting and demounting by a method wherein a pipe by which to secure the thread stabbing hole part of the reticulate rubber band is provided, and a fastening thread is inserted alternately into the thread stabbing hole part and a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A slip preventing tool is formed with a reticulate rubber band 1 having the peripheral length of a tyre, thread stabbing hole parts 2, each protruding from each of both side edges of each mesh, fastening threads 5, respectively inserted through the thread stabbing holes 2, coupling metals 9 and 10, intercoupling both ends of the fastening thread 5, and hook metals 7 and 8 for a thread. In this constitution, pipes 4, having the same length as each other, which servo to secure the thread stabbing hole parts 2 are situated between the hole parts 2. After the fastening threads 5 and 6 are inserted alternately into the thread stabbing hole parts 2 and the pipe 4, the coupling metals 9 and 10 and the hook metals 7 and 8 are situated to both ends of the threads 5 and 6, respectively. This constitution enables the reticulate rubber band 1 to be wound around a tyre 12 and permits both ends thereof to be coupled together to form the rubber band in an annular shape.
