摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the machining accuracy of a curved surface, and to decrease the total number of times of calculation and shorten a processing time by calculating tool passing points, generating an approximate curved line passing those tool passing points, and outputting points on this approximate curved line as tool passage data. CONSTITUTION:Passing points Q0 and Q1 determined by a tool feed quantity are found and tangential vectors V0 and V1 at those points Q0 and Q1 are found to find a cubic expression (approximate curve) P(t) indicating the tool passage. Then the length l of the curve connecting the passing points Q0 and Q1 is found and the increment of a parameter (t) is so determined that a tool 15 which moves on an object shape 16 based upon the value l moves stepwise by a sufficiently small value. Further, the increment S/t of the parameter (t) is calculated from the tool feed quantity S and the length l of the curve and the tool passage of movement on the approximate curve P(t) is outputted. Then, it is decided whether or not all NC (numerical control) data for machining the object shape are calculated and when not, those steps are repeated.
