PURPOSE:To control disk devices of several types of formats by providing a means which stores the information on the processing length and the information on the processing contents, i.e., the disk control information given from a host computer and a means which reads each information received from said storing means and at the same time performs the prescribed processing. CONSTITUTION:A control information storing means 12 stores the information on the processing contents and the information on the processing length and outputs the control information on the address shown by an address changing means 4. A counting means 3 reads the information on the processing length and gives an instruction to the means 4 when the count value is equal to '0'. Thus the means 4 changes addresses and shows the changed addresses to the control information storing means 1 and 2. These means 1 and 2 store the addresses with an instruction of a control part 7 for display of them. Thus the information on the processing contents are successively read by an amount equal to the processing length and can also be read out of an optional address.
