PURPOSE:To call a caller without direct dial of an extension by providing a memory recording an extension number of a caller given up on its way and reading the extension number of the caller from the memory and making a dial through the operation of the extension of a callee. CONSTITUTION:If the extension terminal set 1 gives up its calling on its way due to the unreply of the extension terminal set 2, a control section 8 records the history that the extension terminal set 2 does not replay the call from the extension terminals set 1 and the extension number of the terminal set 1 into a caller extension number recording memory 9. Moreover, the extension number of the extension terminal set 1 is left on a numeric display section of the extension terminal set 2. The operator of the extension terminal set 2 observes the numeric display section of the set 2 after returning its seat and depresses a special button of the extension terminals set 2. A central control section 8 reads the incoming history from the caller extension number recording memory 9 to the extension terminal set 2 and analyzes it to estabilish the state equivalent to the state that the extension terminal set 2 dials and extension number of the extension terminal set 1. Thus, the extension number is called without redial.
