PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate digital filter by preserving information by low-order J-bit lost due to missing of bits as stored data. CONSTITUTION:A value corresponding to an input data and a 1st storage data are added to obtain the 1st data of n-bit length and a 2nd data of n-bit length subject to J-bit arithmetic shift right is obtained. Then a value corresponding to a difference of the first half period input data between sample periods, the 2nd storage data and the 2nd data are summed to obtain a 3rd data of n-bit length as the result and an output data corresponding to the 3rd data is outputted. Moreover, the 3rd data is used as the new 2nd storage data. Then contents of the low-order J-bit are made coincident with contents of the low- order J-bit of the 1st data, and the 4th data of n-bit length where each bit of the high-order (n-J)-bit is made the same bet as the code bit of the 1st data is obtained as the new 1st data.
