PURPOSE:To promote the orientation to a low noise, by forming a blade in a corrugated shape providing protrusions and recesses in trailing edge, central and leading edge parts of the blade in its span direction. CONSTITUTION:An impeller of a cross flow fan is formed by driving side plates 10, reinforcing side plates 11 and blades 6. The blade 6 forms its trailing edge part, providing a rugged part in a blade span direction, to be corrugated. Accordingly, a systematic further rapid growth of turbulence, generated from a shearing jet flow in a pressure surface side, can be prevented. Consequently, the impeller, which is insensitive for a flow direction in the suction side preventing exfoliation from being generated in the span direction as in a two-dimensional blade, enables the orientation to a low noise to be promoted.
