PURPOSE:To attain a high cleaning effect by forming the medium-side layer of a cleaning sheet that faces a magnetic disk with a nonwoven fabric chiefly made of polyester fiber. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning sheet 6 consists of the medium-side unwoven fabric layer 15, case-side unwoven fabric layer 16, and a middle layer 17 facing a cartridge case and connecting said layers 15, 16. The layer 15 is constituted of a polyester fabric only. The polyester fabric is made of a polymer of polyhydric alcohol and polybasic acid, has ester links, and has an excellent smooth and soft texture. In order to display and excellence of the coupled medium characteristic of polyester fabric, the medium-side unwoven fabric layer 15 can be formed either with a polyester fiber only or a mixture of it and polypropylene the case-side unwoven fiber layer 16 is constituted of an unwoven fabric layer of 'Rayon(R)' and polyethlene terephthalate, and the middle layer 17 is constituted of a fiber such as polyethlene.
