PURPOSE:To facilitate the attachment and detachment of the base from the stove unit by disposing a cord housing channel which is open at the top and connects from an attachment recess disposed in the center of the base to the rear of the base, and fitting a removable lid that covers the cord housing channel. CONSTITUTION:The base 18 has a cord housing channel 20 which is open at the top and connects from an attachment recess 19 disposed in the center of the base 18 to its rear. A lid 21 is removably fitted to the base 18 to cover the cord housing channel 20. While the lid 21 is opened, a cord protector 9 is first aligned with the cord housing channel 20, and, after the mounting shaft 6 is placed in the attachment recess 19, the stove unit 1 is fixed on the base 18 by tightening a screw 23 through the bottom plate of the base 10 to the mounting shaft 6. Then, the power cord 8 is housed in the cord housing channel 20, and is routed through a cutout 22. By closing the lid 21 over the cord housing channel 20, the assembly of an electric stove is completed. As a result, the assembly precesses and dismounting of the electric stove can be facilitated.
