PURPOSE:To satisfactorily decide the ratio of an output current and a reference current by using a by-pass circuit which reduces the current flowing to a compensating transistor. CONSTITUTION:A compensating transistor TRQ3 is provided to an output current path of a TRQ1 connected with a diode and functioning to set the bias voltage. Then a compensating current is added to the output current path of a TRQ2 which receives supply of the bias voltage. At the same time, the output currents of plural TRQ11-Q15 having supply of the bias voltage are joined to the output current of the TRQ3. The TRQ11-Q15 increase the output currents like a case where the emitter area ratio is multiplied by N against both TRQ1 and Q2. However an N-fold output current does not flow to the TRQ3. Thus the necessary compensation is secured despite a small current amplification factor hfe of the TRQ3. Then a satisfactory ratio of an output current and a standard current is obtained.
