PURPOSE:To effectively send a load in a short time by installing a load carrying platform for connecting between the ground and a transfer board frame shifted onto a transfer vehicle from a wagon, on the transfer vehicle side. CONSTITUTION:A transfer vehicle 17 in which the top edge 28a of a load carrying platform 28 and an outrigger 19 are lifted is traveled to the side of a transfer board frame 9 of a number of wagons 1 on stop on a rail 6 onto which automobiles are loaded and the transfer vehicle 17 is positioned for the wagon 1 so that a rail 7 and a rail 20 are allowed to nearly coincide. The rails 7 and 20 are adjusted to be at an equal height by extending the outrigger 19, and the gap between the rails 7 and 20 is reduced by extending a hydraulic cylinder 22, and the top edge 28a of the load carrying platform 28 is grounded. A pinion 12 engaged with a rack is turned by driving a motor, and the transfer board frame 9 on the wagon 1 is transferred onto the transfer vehicle 17, and the transfer frame 9 shifted to a constant position is allowed to stop, and then the transfer frame 9 is engaged with the transfer vehicle 17 by a stopper 30, and the preparation for loading the automobile 15 is completed.
