PURPOSE:To form an underwater moving device which is small-sized and simple, with simple equipments, by setting a surface moving body and the underwater moving body adapted to be towed by the surface moving body, and transmitting a control signal to a drive unit of the surface moving body, for operating a direction shifting mechanism of the underwater moving body. CONSTITUTION:A surface moving body 1 equipped with a motor 2, and an underwater moving body 20 adapted to be towed by the surface moving body 1, are set. The underwater moving body 20 includes a space for an operator 22, direction shifting mechanisms 23, 24 and a telecommunication equipment 27, and the surface moving body 1 includes a telecommunication equipment 8, a drive unit 7 and a cable 40. A control signal is transmitted from the telecommunication equipment 27 of the underwater moving body 20 to the drive unit 7 of the surface moving body 1 through the telecommunication equipment 8, for operating the direction shifting mechanisms 23, 24 of the underwater moving body 20, through a cable 40. Accordingly, the underwater moving body 20 can be moved under the water, within the limits of the two of the surface moving body 1, by operating a steering device 21 through the operator 22. In this way, an underwater moving device which is small-sized and simple, with simple equipments, can be formed.
