PURPOSE:To aim at improvement of assembling accuracy of a frame side member by fixing both ends of a reinforcing pipe, which is provided between a side rail and an inner channel, to the side rail and the inner channel. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing member 10 comprises a one-side opened rectangular base plate 11, pipes 12 which are provided on the bottom face of the base plate 11 convexly, and reinforcing pipes 13 positioned between the pipes 12, both ends of which are fixed to both sides portions of the base plate 11. A one-side opened rectangular inner channel 16 has the outer surface of the end portion of both side portions 16a which abut the inner face of the end portion of both side portions 14a of a side rail 14, to cover the opening portion of the side rail 14 for forming a box-shape with the inner channel 16 and the side rail 14. The side rail 14 and the inner channel 16 are fixed to each other by welding the corner portion 17 formed with the outer face of the side portion of the inner channel 16 and the end face of the side portion of the side rail 14.
