PURPOSE:To enable passengers to enjoy conversation and game by setting a pair of left and right independent seat devices to 4-direction opposite sitting condition and ensuring sufficient spaces at passengers feet behind a driver's seat. CONSTITUTION:Independent seats 3L, 3R, 4L and 4R on second and third rows of a box type automobile A are provided with seat cushions 5 and seat packs 6 respectively. These seats 3L, 3R, 4L and 4R are horizontally pivoted about O to set opposite each other in 4 directions as shown by the broken line. When said seats 3L, 3R in the second row seat S2 are slid from said condition forward of a car body and said seats 4L, 4R in the third row S3 are slid rearward of car body, a sufficient space Y at passenger's feet is ensured as shown by the solid line.
